We went snow playing yesterday in the mountains. I had a lot of fun throwing snow balls at my dad.

“I don’t want to eat leaves, only worms eat leaves” – when asked to eat spinach.

“Be happy, amma” – when his mommy disciplines him

“I will become Surasa and poke your eyes” – to his dad. (Surasa is demon in Ramayana)

“Om Namah Shivaya” – says before lifting any heavy object (after Rama who lifts the bow)

“he got a tummy” – giggling and pointing to a ganesha idol in temple.

I al’dy (sic) did बुच्चु. If I do बुच्चु everyday so much, my tummy will hurt!

It’s that time of the year. My birthday coming soon. I’m really excited. I am turning 4. I am having a spidey party on sunday April 1st 2007…I’m not kidding guys. We will have jumper, will do some fun crafts and play games. Party will start at 11am. Do come on time we will have big sunday brunch.

Are you wondering what I would like my birthday?
Nothing…..just come to my party and make it a fun day for me.

I don’t want to go to any school. I want to go to a dance class instead.

I realized that my mom hasn’t been updating my blog since quite some time. You know I was going through terrible twos….. I heard it affects parents a lot. My poor mom and dad…they really suffered. When they are at home I control them completely. Life is all about me..me..and me…feeding me, bathing me, playing with me,reading me stories, taking me to park, putting me to bed..etc. My mom says when she is at work she is much more relaxed.

Now I can communicate better. My mom encourages me to talk than screaming and kicking. She says I am a big boy and I am 3 years old. But I occasionally lose control, usually it is when I have to share or wait for turn.

I have been going to Savita auntie’s house since march ‘05. She took very good care of me. My friends there are Isha, Ishika, Tanvi, Arnav and Srijith. I took a long time to make friends there, well..that’s my nature. Now I really like her and all my friends there. But tomorrow is my last day at Savita auntie’s place. After that I am going to a big school. Mom said I will have new friends and new toys.

On July 4th weekend we went on a long drive to “Jungle”. Since my mom read me the story of little red riding hood I have been fascinated by jungle. I wanted to walk in the woods like red riding hood. So we went to the Sequoia national park, a place filled with giant trees. We hiked on a trail to see General Sherman tree, the largest tree in this world. I was worried about the big bad wolf. So I picked up a fallen branch to “gandi pett” (kick the butt) it. I was prepared for an encounter with wolf. But we had a safe hike to General Sherman. After that we drove around to see more trees. We also saw the second highest mountain in USA, Mount Whitney. Next day we drove back home. I had a great time with Nikkianna and Neha.
